In 2023, Dar Oomi welcomed a sculpture by artist Nathalie Decoster, installed at the entrance to the estate; the luxury guesthouse sits between the sea and an olive grove in Zarzis, southern Tunisia. "Le Temps qui passe," a recurring motif in her work, shares the space with an interior blending signed design pieces, traditional Tunisian craftsmanship, and work by other contemporary artists — a place Myriam Maatoug conceived as a tribute to her late mother.

The piece extends the artist's ongoing reflection on time and the human condition: the walking figure embodies a man advancing toward wisdom through life's cycle. Its itinerant gesture takes root in the estate's olive groves, echoing Dar Oomi's own purpose — to recreate a family haven and pass on a legacy across generations of women.
